It started with a simple question:
"Why not us?"
In 2020, a group of young professionals from Satara returned to their villages during the lockdown. They saw the potential of their land but also the despair of their people—facing water scarcity, lack of education, and dwindling agricultural returns.
Instead of waiting for external help, they decided to take matters into their own hands. Thus, Jeednyasa Foundation (Curiosity Foundation) was born.
From a small team of 5 volunteers, we have grown into a movement of 500+ changemakers, working across 50 villages to build sustainable, self-reliant rural communities.
Our Core Philosophy
Our Vision
To see a self-reliant India where every village is a center of prosperity, knowledge, and sustainable living, free from the need for external aid.
Our Mission
To bridge the urban-rural divide through our FRIENDSS framework, empowering communities with education, skills, and infrastructure.
Our Values
Integrity in action, Transparency in funds, and Empathy in service. We believe in "Antyodaya"—serving the last person in the line.
